  46. lieutenantjeneral said: I will say Walgreens has particularly gone downhill in CA, because wages are horrendous (and, as a result, staffing is very hard to come by). Raises only happen if your store has satisfactory metrics…but with no staff, you get bad metrics. A lot of Walgreens stores in central CA have reduced hours, and every store is a bit of a mess now. I wound up quitting for a CVS job because I got significantly better pay and hours (and I never thought I’d be praising CVS haha)
  47. lieutenantjeneral said: In my experience in California, not much has changed lol. A bill passed in January that stated chains cannot assign metrics to a single person (i.e. 1 rph or tech). Companies basically responded by saying “well, now we’re assigning these metrics to the team”….So now the entire team is responsible for meeting weekly quotas/metrics. I can’t speak for the rest of the country, but basically the expectations remain the same, just with different phrasing
