Lister/Rimmer + Canon Part 3
- Lister and Rimmer’s relationship is often compared to a marriage. The bickering, the ‘best years of my death’ line, and when Rimmer moves in with his double in Me². Lister not only refers to Rimmer II as ‘Mrs Rimmer’, he also celebrates being a bachelor again.
- There is an undue amount of Rimmer feminising Lister (probably to make his feelings more acceptable because he’s really repressed).
- Rimmer gets jealous of Lister sleeping with literally anyone/thing (up to and including his own female opposite and AR machine computer sprites).
