24. Hmm, see I don’t necessarily seek out “scary films” that’s not to say I don’t watch them (I do). I think I’m actually gonna go with Poltergeist, if for the simple reason that THEY USED REAL BODIES IN A MOVIE ABOUT NOT DESECRATING THE DEAD. There was a bit of a curse associated with this movie too as I recall (didn’t the original girl die a couple of years later?)

27. I really enjoyed the adapation of Gormenghast that came out about 12-14 years ago. City of Ember, although I’ve never read it, seemed like a good adaptation.

28. Battlefield Earth. Without a doubt. I still vividly recall actually liking the book, seeing the reviews for the film while I was reading it and thinking “it can’t be that bad.” people were walking out of the theatre. it was terrible. I’m gonna rewatch it too at some point and marvel that people didn’t put a kaibosh on this
