The most utterly useless expanse of Das Blinkenlights in cinematic history. What could all of that possibly tell you? Like, “Oh look, that light in the third row and second column of panel 22 is only blinking twice a minute, and it should be blinking every 19 seconds, which indicates that neural processing module #217-B isn’t getting the proper voltage.” Or is it more ephemeral? “The overall pattern of blinking seems nervous to me.” I don’t even do user interface design and this is so irritating to me.
