Isn’t it funny when you’re marathonning a show and you notice a piece of wardrobe being used twice on different minor characters? In the season five Frasier episode, “First Date,” a neighbour of Niles called Phyllis wears an unusual gold brooch (I had to look at it quite hard to work out just what it was, which is why I remember it), and in season six episode ten, where I’m up to now, the same brooch has turned up on a woman who just helped Frasier out of an awkward situation while shopping.
Of course there’s no reason on earth why two women living in Seattle in the 90s shouldn’t both have bought the same odd brooch. It just caught my eye and made me think “well, well, well.”
My life is very dull.
I always enjoyed it when clothing hanging up in Garak’s shop ended up on a character. It made me think that bought it from him.
That is awesome. I feel better now.
Trek does that a lot, The Reman Outfits were used on the Xindi Reptiles, Picard’s Command Chair from the Nemesis deleted scene (with the seatbelts) was brough in as Archer’s new chair, or my fave, the Angel One matte painting, which is neat, but ends up on 3 TNG episodes, one DS9 and one Voyager Episode nearly 10 years later!
