THIS IS SO OUT OF CHARACTER.

Thank you! I didn’t want my 7th season pics to be a big Ezri bash, because I like the actress and I want to support the female characters, but there were so many things about her that weren’t consistent or just plain annoying. Like this. I know the character is supposed to be discombobulated, but this is just so cruel. Jadzia never gave Julian the time of day! Eventually they came to be friendly pals, but that was it. Yet Julian held a candle for her right up to her death, and possibly beyond. For Ezri to pull on those heartstrings, was callous and self-serving. Especially right after she tells him not to flirt with her, because she wouldn’t know how to handle it. Ugh!

And actually putting them together… aargh. It felt like it was intended as a consolation prize for both of them. It has to crash and burn.

HANNAH DON’T READ - SPOILERS (HAVE TO TAG THIS NOW)

If it is any consolation the novels do the same thing as Ezri takes a while to decide who she is. In the end, She can’t be Julian’s Boyfriend (I do believe the term “Childish” is used to describe him) and she goes on a command path instead. By the time the Destiny trilogy rolls around she’s Commanding her own ship.

Julian and Sarina while we’re added….gets more muddled and complicated.
