How to make tumblr not resize gifs in a text post

There may be a better way, but here is the method I’ve been using, since someone asked.
OK so make yourself a text post as usual and put in the gif. Here’s one in which the lovely Helen Magnus sums up my feelings about this feature.
Now, click on that gear icon in the upper right hand corner and choose “html” like so:
Then look through the code (it might take several seconds to fully load) and find this bit here that says “tumblr-full” and delete it. If you have multiple gifs, you’ll have to delete it for each one.
Once you’ve deleted it (them), click on the gear again and switch back to rich text to admire the effect. You’ll get a warning from tumblr, just tell it you know what you’re doing and proceed.
And then awesomesauce, your gif is no longer stretched out and stupid looking!
