he did and that’s what killed her, remember? since she was falling down the sudden stop when he caught her with his webbing caused her body to jerk, breaking her neck. though it has been implied the shock killed her instantly and she was dead by that point anyway

In the comics yeah, but in the movie adaption he didn’t get to her quite in time. He was able to keep her body from hitting the ground, but the back of her head still slammed against the floor and that’s what killed her in The Amazing Spiderman 2.

it still doesn’t apply though even if we go with the movie adaptation; if he had caught her faster then he would’ve snapped her neck just like in the comics. no good ending here
