So if we consider each movie are different iterations of the same characters then it works. I still have a hard time believing that John was supposed to be 10 in T2 (according to dates and display info he was either 10 or it was 1994 but I guess producers couldn’t count and decide) and I guess Jonathan Mostow couldn’t believe it either so now this version of John Connor’s internal monologue places the events of T2 when he was 13….
