It always amazes me that the SG-1 writers initially wanted Hammond to be more confrontational,, to be a roadblock basically to SG1′s success. I forget which commentary I was listening to but it made so much sense in regards to season 1, especially with Don Davis basically saying “nope, not gonna play him like that.” especially after watching Twin Peaks, how can you not have the Hammond we know and love?
