also I think I had something to prove to myself in terms of driving, I only learned when I was in my early-to-mid twenties, I’ve been involved in 3 car accidents (only one was I at fault, the other two the other drivers were clearly to blame, one giving me some slipped disks) and I’ve never driven in this city before. turns out I had nothing to worry about, it didn’t even take me leaving the lot to be back in the groove
