Service guy came, and after swapping a couple of cables did a bigger check and found out that all the modems in my area that were the same one as mine (an older cisco model) came back online 9 hours ago last night, and all had the same provisioning error as well. So we’ve swapped it out for a different model (it looks fancy and almost mod-ish)and let’s see if it hold out.
