How does the audience feel what’s happened if we can’t see the burns that are the physical reflection of Katniss’ grief and anger? her hair is clean and shiny and hanging in Kate Middleton waves and she’s wearing berry lipgloss
In the books after surviving the Games all Katniss’ injuries and scars are removed by Capitol cosmetic medicine, including scars that she had before the Games, things that were part of her life, and she feels it as a violation because she wasn’t given any choice and they’ve physically erased what happened to her
so it shows an awful misunderstanding of the text for the movie to do the same thing to her
