People react to this like Keanu is too good to work with Winter again or something. It’s because nobody knows that Alex Winter kicks fucking ass, and that he could make a Bill & Ted movie work even if they were 70 years old. Keanu is onboard for this for the same reasons that he was onboard for the first two and Freaked. He has said that he has a lot of fun making these movies, and why wouldn’t he want to work with an old friend? This is the first time I’ve heard that they have a script, director, and studio all together.
