So this popped on my dash again and I had to reblog.
Although Baal is in Summit/Last Stand this, for me, is his first true episode and right from this entrance it’s clear he’s not like any Goa’uld we’ve seen so far.
“That’s it? Just Baal?” Though this line from Jack is 99% so the writers can make the Bocce joke, it also makes a point. Yes, just Baal. No fanfare, no posturing, no monologuing. He doesn’t even call himself a god (though he definitely thinks he superior to humanity and the Tok’ra)
And it starts here, when he does nothing more than walk into a room.
