Of course cis people are taking the bathroom bills seriously now that cis women are being harassed in bathrooms by paranoid bigoted men and nobody’s doing jackshit about the massive amount of transmisogyny being coded into the language of all of these reports.

I’d like to say that this is what happens when, for months and months you use your appearance to try and fight against these bills, but that isn’t even the root cause, really.

Yeah I’ve been similarly annoyed with how people respond to these cis-women-falling-victim-to-bathroom-bills situations. So many of the reactions amount to “but she’s not a trans woman”… as if it would have been okay to harass her if she had been a trans woman.
