Hmm although I don’t actively seek out horror films I can probably recommend some horror?
Event Horizon: I think it’s been underappreciated and, I mean it’s Paul W.S. Anderson but his very first film iirc and as such, not terrible. It’s actually a good Mary Celeste story.
Mirrors: as goofy and terrible a cliche’d movie it is there’s one scene, GAWD-GALLY bravo.
Return of the Living Dead: You want fun and zombies? this is it, the original is p awesome.
Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, Army of Darkness: I mean you could just skip the original evil dead and go into Evil Dead II as it kinda recaps the first movie in 10 minutes and you avoid some of the controversial stuff. Prime fun Schlock.
The Frighteners: Again not really horror just a fun seeing ghosts/decapitation otherworldly film.
Near Dark: Southern Vampires Trash actually let me add The Thing, and The Fog. Both awesome horror movies (SF Horror for the The Thing, Scary Story for The Fog). All From John Carpenter. It’s been so long since I’ve seen Halloween & Halloween III that I can’t speak for them. Also Ghosts of Mars was fun horror.
Re-Animator: Cat dead, details later.
There is a possibility that I might do a horror themed movie week or 2 where I might watch/rewatch:
The Frighteners (rw)
Frankenhooker
From Beyond
In the Mouth of Madness
