to clarify my earlier reblog…

FTWD spent so much time building a connection between Strand and Nick (to the point that fans were whining about it all through season 1, mostly racist white fans who hated Strand) and then no reason, no explanation, suddenly Nick doesn’t give a shit about his debt to Strand, doesn’t give a shit about him period, simply  because Nick is now suddenly Cool™ and needs his own storyline I guess. oic

so far the two things I’ve enjoyed about season 2 are a) lots of actual Spanish being spoken, and b) Madison and Strand’s friendship. I ship their friendship with the energy of a thousand suns.

everything else is pretty meh.

Like I hope Ofelia sticks around and does things, and Travis….also does something. Actually I hope they all DO something. Travis can become something interesting, Alycia needs more development. TWD knew their characters better before separating them like this and I don’t think this show knows its characters.
