The scores of murderous white gunmen who’ve acted out this year are not at all “lone wolves.” They are asserting white male hegemony where they feel it is threatened, or wherever it’s not centered. They’re attacking clinics, churches, schools, disadvantaged communities – places and groups of people that would find it hard to challenge them. This is not a coincidence. It is a hallmark of fascism.
