Ds9 au where the ONLY thing odo can shapeshift well is faces. The rest is just eldrich body horror and random body parts from various different aliens and animals. Still functional. He makes up for this by adding many hyper-realistic, extremely varied, faces. They all have a different voice. Odo also gets to use his shapeshifting abilities liberally onscreen.
