Picard geeking out about the new holodeck and its Dixon Hill program, and Data being informative and startled by Picard’s enthusiasm.

I didn’t notice it the first few times I watched TNG, but this is the turning point for Picard. This is the first time he lets himself get really excited about something, and it’s adorable. It’s also when he stops being such a grump. He just needed to geek out a little with his friends.
