Dear Gaters—as you know, the Woolsey Fire in California has devastated the homes of many who work in the television and film industry, including, unfortunately, Joe Flanigan, whom you may know better as Lt. Col. John Sheppard from Stargate Atlantis. Flanigan and his three sons have lost not only their Malibu home of many years but also every possession that wasn’t with them when they were evacuated. A couple of days ago, he posted this heartbreaking picture on Instagram—it’s all that remains of their house and belongings.
Some of us decided to run a small fundraiser for Joe, and send him whatever we can; he’s also selling autographed photos via his agent, but we thought it might be nice to join together and organize a collection as his fans.
