This massive highway/tunnel/toll plaza complex near Sagamihara (just outside the Tokyo metropolitan area), Japan is a nightmare – real or dreamed!
(Looks to me more like a Disneyland ride!)
Yes, it’s an engineering marvel….as it gaps several mountain tunnels….and, probably most “importantly”, allows notoriously exorbitant tolls to be collected.
