I was finally able to pause at the right time and CONFIRM that Solomon Tozer is wearing the Percy coat of arms for his Carnivale outfit, which by extension means he is almost definitely dressed as my boy Harry Hotspur.

Hotspur, for those not into IRL English history or Shakespeare’s History plays, was a hotheaded but renowned knight who led a failed rebellion against King Henry IV. Shakespeare characterizes Hotspur as an impetuous but earnest young man who is DTF (Down To Fight) at all times, and who is staunchly loyal to his loved ones and the code of chivalry.

Hotspur’s honor, trust, and temper mean he is easily manipulated into the aforesaid failed rebellion by his craftier father and uncle, who ultimately betray him–his father by abandoning him before the battle, his uncle by deliberately giving Hotspur false information for his own self-preservation.
