You talked about Q in other series recently, do you have strong reactions to others crossing over say Quark in TNG/Voyager?
OBVIOUSLY I am biased towards enjoying Quark cameos, but I like both the tng and voyager ones for different reasons: the voyager cameo does a nice job of establishing Harry and Tom’s base character traits right off the bat! AAAND I love that an alternate version of this meeting (where Harry isn’t present) is responsible for an alternate timeline where Tom Paris punches Quark and has the law come down on him hard. (EVEN VOYAGER must remind us that Odo is very good at his job except where Arresting Quark For All The Actual Crimes He Commits is concerned.)
the tng cameo just makes it seem like Riker and Quark banged once, which is A++++++++++
also my dwindling affection for the emh aside, i really liked Picardo’s ds9 cameo because like, god that dude does a great job of playing a smarmy binch
