thanks! i had a hard time telling one of these apart. the front looked like an F15 but you’re right the rear is a dead giveaway

In those GIFs from The Place Promised In Our Early Days, neither plane is an F-15 -- it's an F-22 Raptor pursued by a MiG-29. The giveaways on the F-22 vs. the F-15 are the trapezoidal intakes and vertical stabilizers, which are stealth features. An F-15 has upright stabilizers and boxy rectangular intake openings.
