As the season begins, we understand that some of our fans have expressed concern about the state of the team, especially given the recent merger between Terror FC and Erebus Athletic, to say nothing of team captain Sir John Franklin’s extremely unfortunate ACL injury. We’d like to reassure all of you that we are all still very much optimistic about our chances of winning the league, and we have every intention of making the FA Sunday League Cup final in Stoke!

Instead of worrying about all of that, we encourage you to worry about other things instead, such as: Will fan favorite centre back Thomas Blanky get to do his air guitar leg celebration? Can winger Cornelius Hickey get through the season without being carded for diving? And just what exactly is our new mascot, Tuunbaq, and why does it have weird rubbery fingers? Actually, come to think of it, neither Terror FC nor Erebus Athletic had a mascot last year…

Ah well. Training starts tomorrow, and acting captain Francis Crozier and his team are positively raring to go–so we’ll get our answers soon enough, won’t we?
