#YEAH!!#like we make Jokes about sir john being a moron and he is but the cool thing abt this show is that nobody is ever 100% wrong#his concerns about image and morale shouldn’t have been allowed to outweigh practicality#but managing crew morale DOES matter and i think both fitz and crozier had to learn how to fill his role once he was gone#francis’s arc especially is a lot about learning the very skills that he didn’t understand & kind of sneered at in sir john#franklin is a good Father To The Men and crozier is a good captain but neither of those things are enough on their own#crozier has to learn to be both
