Francis Crozier is one of the most important director of his generation, but his movies are loved by a very specialized niche of cinephiles and snubbed by the mainstream audience. James Fitzjames is a talented but little known actor, who starred mainly in Brazilian soap operas.
By pure chance, they were called by the famous Barrow Productions to work at John Barrow’s last project, “The Gates of Erebus”. Needles to say, they aren’t very happy to work together: Francis considers James a pretentious rookie; James sees Francis only as an alcoholic loser.
