A great promo still from the “15,000 Roentgen” scene.
Boris is leading the pack with tiger-like elegance. That coat was a truly great wardrobe decision!
Valery hurrying in the back, trying to keep up with everyone else.
I wonder. It doesn’t seem muddy or anything. Were the boards to keep from tracking sand everywhere?
Boris’ coat is his superhero cape!
@valerafan2 I think so: they probably had to shot the scene and make them go in and out from the tent many times, so, even if it wasn’t muddy, a furrow would form in the sand.
@johnlockismyreligion @valerafan2 I agree that this might have been done to keep their set intact for multiple doubles. But in addition to that, since this is a chemical weapons specialists’ camp, I think this might be a part of their general chemical defense protocol. The planks are easy to sweep or wash to keep them clean from toxic residue from a chemical attack - or in this case of course, radioactive ash, which would prevent it from getting tracked into their tents/cars/etc.
@stellan-pip-69 I was thinking the same thing! 😍
