Baron Chau’s got a bit of a similar progression as Ba’al did in SG1. In the sense that they had their Baron/Goa’uld Summit and the show focused on her a lot more after a single standalone ep with Sunny/Jack and now she’s a recurring thorn, the lesser of all threats for now but always there.
