′′Tower of Tributes′′ at Uruguay's Centennial Football Stadium in Montevideo, 1930

Each of the nine balconies of the gazebo represents the stripes of the flag of Uruguay (five white and four blue), while the base of the tower imitates the wings of a plane and the bow of a ship, referring to arrival from immigrants to the country.

The tower is crowned by a pole which regularly flies a large Uruguayan flag.
