I'm writing a smaller-scale version of the scenario from the Island in the Sea of Time books - im my story. the ship carrying Margaret, Maid of Norway is teleported to the waters off modern-day Scotland. Modern medicine will cure her food poisoning and the interactions between a thirteenth century child princess and the modern Scottish political and cultural elite will fascinating. Oh and a Bishop was travelling with her which will make things very awkward for the modern Catholic Church.
