SG-1 got an upscale? I hope Apple will replace the awful DVD rips they sell on iTunes with it, like they did with Babylon 5. I'd be happy with higher bitrate 480p tbh, what I have is pretty fuzzy.

yeah all 10 seasons, tho really the last 3 were already shot in hd and upped a few years ago.

Gateworld has a good article on it.  it’s not quite like TNG’s full pass on the original film, it’s an AI cleanup with denoise. Still its a lot better than what was out there before.

SG-1 is also currently on netflix, but they’re not seamless as the dvds were, in the sense that there’s a clear space where the adbreaks were and that was never the case on the dvds (or the blurays for that matter)

The video quality on Netflix isn’t as good as on Hulu. Netflix has some compression rate nonsense I’ve been told. It was obvious the moment I started the pilot.

I noticed it when I put on Seth on there the other day. Can’t speak for what’s on Hulu.

the rips are the best quality....if you're willing to have them take something like 50 gigs per season :P
