dead money: actually sort of thriving in this extremely high risk survival scenario where he can betray and manipulate people. very enthusiastic about getting into knife fights with the ghost people. develops a weird homoerotic nemesis relationship with dean domino. is ultimately smart enough to survive, but not smart enough to break the laws of physics and carry 37 bars of cursed gold back to the mojave with him
