Black Sails Challenge: Favorite Underrated Character

Obviously there are SO many epic characters both in the foreground and the background of this show, but I do wish we could’ve had more time with Eme (and more of Madi and her too!!). She spends pretty much two and a half seasons in Nassau as liaison/spy for the Maroons and survives there under all the volatility and the Woodes Rogersing.

She’s also frequently shown as an essential conveyor of information and an important player on that scene: she tells Eleanor her father is dead in s2; she gets supplies sent to the Maroon camp in s3; she tells Madi that Silver is alive in s4; she brings word back to Nassau that Long John Silver is back from the dead and coming for his due. She’s a big part of some of the most important moments on the show and I stan.
