GOWRON EYES, I am so glad somebody knows of the phenomenon that is GOWRON EYES. D: His huge buggy popping-out eyes with the whites ALL AROUND THE IRISES scared the HELL out of me when I was a kid!
They… they still do. ;___;
Interesting thing: the technique of bugging your eyes like Gowron, opening them extra wide so the whites show all around and you look somewhat unhinged, is a key part of the Maori haka, a warriors’ dance used for challenges and general ‘look, we are some tough nuts, don’t start anything you’re not prepared to finish’ messages.
They also stick their tongues out a lot, which I’m glad Gowron did not add to his repertoire.
