This scene has been stuck in my mind for ages and I think this might be something I redraw sometime as I only had a couple of hours today. But anyway, since it is a generally accepted fact that Mace Windu is 100% alive (RIGHT?) then he could also have either been the one to find Grogu wherever he was hidden or get him from someone else who did. Tried to go for a “trying hard to smile reassuringly but just can’t manage it” kind of expression. As traumatic as all the Jedi dying would have been for all the adults, think how it would have been for a force sensitive baby :(.
