I think Enterprise should've had an episode like arena where archer gets pitted against another alien in a death combat, but instead of testing his ability to recall his Starfleet chemistry minor like Kirk, the challenge ends up being water based and oh no!!!! the species archers fighting against is secretly amphibious!!!! but in the end archers water polo skills such as treading water and throwing objects while in the water allow him to prevail until the people watching call a draw. they ask him where he learned such magnificent water combat skills and he explains to them the meaning of sportsmanship and teamwork and theyre so astounded at the physical prowess produced from cooperation on this Planet Earth that they let Archer go
