For all the shooting space marines do, where the heck do they keep all that amo? Bolter shells are not small. Surely there should be a veritable parade of servitors or servo skulls delivering amo to the front!
You aren’t supposed to think about that, anon. Just look at the pretty explosions and starbursts of alien blood.
But no, uh, as far as canon goes on the subject, they either carry spare clips on their utility belts, or the battles are so aggressive and fast-paced that everyone relevant to the expenditure of bolter ammo is dead by the time it would be a problem. Plus they have their melee weapons and such, some of which also have fuel… but don’t think about that either.
