eh the age stuff itself doesn’t bother me, Romulans live longer and we don’t really know how old Laris is, she could be decades older than Picard. The rest tho, including Picard wants to kiss his personal assistant does indeed leave bad taste. And this offscreen death of Zhavan (I honestly have already forgotten the explanation there) to advance this Lonely Picard plot….yeah not great bob.
