James Dean in portraits by Dennis Stock taken during production of the opening scene of the Warner Bros./Nicholas Ray drama Rebel Without a Cause, 1955. This segment of the film was shot on location on Franklin Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue in Hollywood. The house in the background (which is still standing today) was the former residence of beleaguered silent screen actor and comedian Fatty Arbuckle, located directly next door to the Wattles Mansion, now known as Wattles Garden Park.
