may i suggest: sitcom trope where the child of divorced parents tries to keep them in separate rooms at a party. there’s an entire b plot of worf trying to hide picard from sisko in increasingly ridiculous situations, whilst convincing him that sisko does want to see him, but is just SO busy captain
Worf suggests doing weddings because he’s due to show up on the Enterprise again at some point.
Jadzia: We are *not* doing two wedding ceremonies, one’s gonna be exhausting enough!
Worf: Ah, um, well good news, because it’s not two weddings. It’s three. My foster parents couldn’t make it so we’re also going to Minsk.
