Ford Galaxie XL Magic Cruiser, 1966, by Barris Kustom City. A show car created by Barris for Ford based on a Galaxie fastback but with the rear section able to be raised using hydraulic and electric controls to convert the fastback into a shooting brake/station wagon. Barris made 2 versions, based on '66 and '67 Galaxie fastbacks. The fate of the prototypes is unknown but like many Ford show cars from the 60s they were probably destroyed at the end of the show careers.
