A poster I created for The Female Gaze: A Movie Poster Project. It’s a collaborative project wherein 30+ female artists celebrate women in front of and behind the camera via the medium of alternative movie posters.
Ravenous (directed by Antonia Bird, who came into production late and pulled it back from the brink of disaster) is a half-forgotten horror gem in need of more love! It’s a fun mishmash of genres (Western, black comedy, horror) with a truly bonkers soundtrack and very engaging performances. (It also managed to predate several NBC Hannibal plot points…ahem.) Anyway, I’m still waiting for the wave of critical reappraisal that will give this film its long-due cult status. Meanwhile, here’s some fanart!
