PSA for those with chronic migraines (and other types of chronic headaches): taking certain medications (such as fioricet, acetaminophen, NSAIDs, and triptans) too often can cause rebound headaches. these are headaches that are caused by long-term use of the aforementioned medications, and they are often worse than your usual headaches/migraines.

here's an article with a list of medications that can cause rebound headaches if you take them long term. my doctor didn't tell me this until recently, even though i've been taking one of these medications for years!

stay safe, and don't be afraid to ask your doctor about rebound headaches if you think you might be having them.

yes my neurologist recocomends not taking those types of meds no more than 10 days out of a monthotherwise rebound headaches
