What character arcs, if any, did you guys have planned out early? Did you know Sisko was part Prophet early on? Did you ever have something different planned for Jake? Was Bajoran ever supposed to join the Federation during the shows run? Thanks 👍🏻🙏

We had loose plans but adapted as went.
- No. Also Sisko is not part Prophet, IMO. He’s genetically human. The Prophets just made sure he was born so he could teach them about time and stuff.
- I think the initial thought was Jake might join Starfleet but I swayed everyone to go the opposite direction, based on my own childhoood.
- It was always something we figured would happen in the very last episode, if ever. But we never completely settled on that “if ever” part.
