many have tried. The current incarnation of the novel-verse is actually quite coherent and tying it with itself (and several spin-offs). Tying the crews together more recently there’s been the Destiny Saga (sans original) Section 31 (each crew’s dealign with them, minus ENT) the Mirror Universe Anthologies, Badlands (sans ENT), The Brave and the Bold (focusing on other ships/crews dealing with each main crew) And the classics like Federation (with Zephram Cochrane, written Pre-ST-FC). Most of those have an arc that’s dealt by the various crews…
