Ran with a small nomad group in my twenties, mostly vets and ex cons, couple a' runaways. Just a handful of fuckups that society scraped off their boot an' threw in the fuckin' gutter. Guy that brought me in picked me up at my lowest, saved my damn life. Taught me how to play guitar, how to knock a motherfucker down, even helped me buy my first bike.
I owed him everything.. and I never got to repay him.
