This SNW was a rough one, in terms of quality. Struggled through it, some of it felt too much of a rethread/compilation of Picard S2, and La'an and Kirk were just….not compelling. The episode felt severely bloated.

Trek twisting itself into a pretzel to explain why Khan hasn’t shown up yet in our timeline (Greg Cox’s superb 2-book rise of khan books aside, which I know most people haven’t read) was kind of funny actually. and does seem to finally acknowledge SNW and by extension Disco might be its own timeline (until boimler shows up anyway)

I did like the line about the denobulan prison but i really though the line was gonna end “and my cell mate was this old man named Phlox”
